Known by fans as a highlight in the band’s live shows for years, The Academy Blues Project finally shares “Part of Your World” on 2nd July 2021. The classic track from Disney’s The Little Mermaid is ABP’s first official cover release, featuring a punchy organ lead and an offbeat soul arrangement that captures the quartet’s fervent energy. Just in time for the Tokyo Games is the single’s b-side, “Good Hustle” — a funky instrumental cut for aspiring (and perspiring) Olympians, and another longtime jam vehicle from ABP’s concert performances. Both tracks were recorded in full, live takes at the band’s own 232 Studios on June 14th 2021.

“Part of Your World” b/w “Good Hustle” comes hot on the heels of the band’s debut studio record, THE NEON GROTTO (released in February), as well as in the midst of a run of three full-length albums that The Academy Blues Project will release in 2021.
